there is lots of building going on!

May 26, 2011

We are doing loads of sawing, sanding, oiling. The oil was fun!!!!

Benji explains Shirlyn his plan which seems to be different from hers and is most certainly very detailed.

Not so easy to figure this one out. When you pull, nothing happens and when you push you get stuck.

Little reminder to the children that it’s kindy time!

And we are making a porch to be able to be outside on many rainy days …

New shed for tools and well, yes, stuff.

The children are sorting out the pebbles.

Designing a new sandpit was lots of fun, to the big boys as well as my teenage daughter. Creativity is allowed, what a discovery!

What else has shaped our kindergarten? Certainly this overflow of a pumpkin plant! Gardening is on every Friday and so far we have some zucchini plants, sunflowers, papayas, lemongrass, cocoa baby trees (!!!) and honeysuckle on the staircase!

We love zucchini and this seemed a way to keep them from rottening. Will make a decorated wall around soon!

I just had to share 2 more photos of today:

Just as Tui was snoozing away after a morning of activity,

the baby kitten, the image of innocence and playfulness, has joined in right on the sleeping mats!

That’s it for today, tomorrow I make some pics from the cocoa trees, promise!
